The first international painting symposium of Imam Ali was brought to an end on August 3, on the opening of artworks created.
As reported by press room of symposium, the closing ceremony of the first international painting symposium was announced official upon opening of artists’ created artworks, by “Ahmad Esfandiari”, renown Iranian artist.

The ceremony was held with leading figures of Iranian art as professor “Manouchehr Motabar”, “Ali Shirazi”, and “Mohammad Mahdi Asgarpour” secretary of symposium, “Seyed Mohsen Hashemi” executive manager, “Majid Sarsangi” successor of cultural artistic organization of Tehran municipality, “Khalil Sepehr Sobhani” director of art department of the organization and Iranian and international artists present, during which each artist was presented a Persian carpet, a certification and a letter of appreciation.
The first international painting symposium of Imam Ali was opened on the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Ali with 11 foreign artists from 8 nationalities and 7 Iranian artists participating, during which participating artists executed their ideas on justice and compassion within 6 days. These artworks are exhibited at Imam Ali religious arts museum till august 15.
It is to say that a painting workshop for children of 7 to 11 was held simultaneously, from which the selected artworks were exhibited along with the opening ceremony of artworks.
